‘Subtle shift’ in language from Morrison last night when questioned about wages: Clennell

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says he thought he saw a “subtle shift” in language from Prime Minister Scott Morrison last night when questioned about wages. “Previously, he’d said it was irresponsible in the extreme for Anthony Albanese to suggest that the minimum wage might rise at the 5.1 per cent rate of inflation,” Mr Clennell said. “Here he is last night on 7:30 pointing out seven of eight times the minimum wage has moved higher than inflation under his government.”
