The police commissioner has denied she attempted to cover up the use of a taser on 95-year-old Clare Nowland, by omitting the word “taser” from the first media briefing on the incident. In other news, 40-year-old Australian, Jason Kennison, has died while descending from the summit of Mount Everest after he ran out of oxygen around 450 metres down the mountain.
